Wedding Check List - What You Need to Do

Please read the following information and fill in the appropriate music requirements form. Either fill in the form online a minimum of 2 weeks before your wedding, or print it off and send it to us when you are sending the balancing payment (if contracted to do so).

If we are accompanying a singer at any point during a ceremony and they are not known to us, please indicate which songs will be sung and the key they are to be sung in. If the songs/hymns are not part of our collection listed on our vocal accompaniments, we need to know a minimum of 4 weeks in advance. Please ask the singer to be available to rehearse 1 hour before the ceremony is due to start.

We do not require any amplification for ceremonies.

If we are playing for you at a reception PLEASE ENSURE THE VENUE KNOWS WE ARE COMING. (We ask that the venue is prepared for us - this helps to save on setup time. If we are travelling from the ceremony to the reception, it means we can start more promptly – and ensure you get value for money.)

We need a cleared space of at least 3m² (10ft x 10ft) and 4 armless chairs in position. If we are playing during the meal, it would be advisable that there is also an empty space of around 2m (6ft) to the front of us so the nearest guests don’t feel uncomfortably close. We understand this may not be possible at certain venues.

If we are to perform in more than one location, please ensure the staff have both/all the areas prepared. (We would prefer not to have to ask your guests to move after they are settled in and enjoying themselves.)

If we are performing outside please ensure there are chairs in place before we are due to arrive.

If we are to collect payment on the day, to avoid any embarrassment, it would be helpful to receive it before we begin to play so that we do not disturb anyone at a later time.

If you would like to choose specific pieces for during the drinks reception and/or meal, then please refer to our playlist

We do not demand, but would greatly appreciate some refreshments if we have travelled a considerable distance, and/or we are performing over meal times. From experience, many venues are geared solely in the preparation of the banquet and cannot accept any impromptu requests for food.
