BBC Blackstaff Sessions
Towards the end of 2007 ISQ was invited
to take part in the recording of the 3rd series of the BBC music
show the Blackstaff sessions. ISQ was in the company of many top
musicians from around the world and performed with Brian Kennedy,
Niamh Quinn and played its own version of Van Morrison’s
Moondance. The series will be aired from the end of January 2008.

Cat Malodjin’s New Album
ISQ is currently working with one
of Ireland’s top record
producers, Mudd Wallace, on four of the tracks on the new album
for up and coming two piece band Cat Malodjin. Recording is well
underway, with the album release later this year.
ISQ ranked No
3 in the Top Ten Entertainment Acts in Ireland by Ireland’s
Wedding Journal
In October 2007 Ireland’s Wedding Journal
announced it’s
Top Ten Entertainment Acts on the Island and ISQ is proud to have
been ranked No 3 on their list in competition with all other music
acts including all other string quartets, singers, bands and DJ’s.

Wedding Music Showcases
The first of the new WMS will take place
in the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel on Sunday 17th February. Further
events are in the planning for Mach, April and May and details
will be finalised soon.
Manager Lindsay Wood
With our continued growth and success, ISQ is pleased to announce
we have secured the services of Lindsay Wood from LAR Events
to act as our manager. Lindsay will be in charge of all aspects
of the business including PR, marketing, administration and has
agreed to make herself available to take calls from clients (when
it is more convenient for them) between 6:00pm – 8:00pm,
Tuesday to Friday.
ISQ has teamed up with one of Ireland’s biggest vocal talent’s
Ceara Grehan. We are very excited at the prospect of working with
one of the best known singers on the Island. Ceara’s has
a wealth of experience in musical theatre and tremendous versatility
as a performer. We are currently in rehearsals with her and will
be recording an album later this year. Watch this space for updates.
ISQ announces, with the addition of the Ulster Orchestra’s
Principal Bass, Gareth Hopkins; the formation of the ISQ Café Orchestra.
With a playlist containing waltzes, tangos and much, much, more,
ISQ Café Orchestra re-creates the atmosphere, panache and
sophistication of high society soirées synonymous with many
Hollywood movies, most notably ‘Scent of a Woman’.
